Product Overview


The Rubyk-OT is a dedicated industrial security appliance that segregates industrial assets from the network, monitors network traffic and applies security measures in order to protect the industrial asset, functioning as a dedicated network safeguard for connected assets. 


It’s an innovative, stand-alone, palm-size network device providing highly secured connectivity for high-value physical assets that are deployed in industrial verticals such as manufacturing, smart facilities, agriculture and energy.


The Rubyk-OT protects the connected asset from attacks originating from the network, and protects the network from attacks originating from a potentially compromised asset by isolating and defending both Ends.


Deployment of Rubyk-OT does not require modification nor configuration changes and does not impact customer operations or other security measures.






Safety and Regulatory Information 


  • The Rubyk-OT unit (the "Product") must be used in accordance with any and all applicable international, national and local laws and regulations, and in full compliance with any special restrictions regulating the utilization of the Product in prescribed applications and environments.

  • The User must fully adhere to the instructions hereby documented.

  • To prevent possible injury or damage to appliances and to ensure that all the relevant provisions have been complied with, use only the original accessories provided. Unauthorized modifications of the accessories provided or utilization of accessories that have not been approved may result in the termination of the validity of the warranty.

  • The Product case must not be opened.

  • Only use a fully compliant 5V USB-C power supply. Lower or higher voltage levels are not permitted; otherwise this can lead to product failure. Input Voltage of USB connector should never exceed 5V.

  • The Product is designed for indoor use only and should not be exposed to extreme ambient conditions. 

  • The Product is not waterproof and not water resistant and should not be exposed to water under any circumstances.

  • The Product should not be exposed to high levels of humidity and moisture which can cause corrosion and malfunction.

  • The Product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures. Recommended operational temperatures are  between 32° and 95° F (0° and 35° C).

  • Avoid significant dust buildup on the Product since dust can accumulate inside the sockets, ports, and other in-betweens of the Product, thus potentially leading to malfunctions. 


Warranty  Limitations:


Warranty is null and void and shall not apply if:


  1. The Product is damaged by Acts of God, power surges, misuse, negligence, accidents, wear and tear, mishandling, misapplication or other causes unrelated to original manufacturing defects;

  2. The Product has been tampered, the case has been opened or the assembly seal has been removed or damaged;

  3. The Product has been altered or modified or the software has been manipulated;

  4. The Product has been damaged and the damage was caused as a result of the use of the Product in conjunction with products not supplied by RubyComm;

  5. The Product has not been installed, operated, repaired or maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied by RubyComm;

  6. The Product has been subject to abnormal physical or electrical stress, misuse, negligence or accident;

  7. The Product is supplied or licensed for beta, evaluation, testing or demonstration purposes;

  8. The Product has been used with a power adapter other than what is specified or designated by Rubycomm;

  9. The product has not been used according to the manufacturer's operating instructions.
