Manjaro

As one of the leading global operating systems for Linux mobile phones, Manjaro was founded in 2011 as a passion community project by five enthusiasts of open-source software. Manjaro has evolved rapidly to establish itself as one of the most popular and well-known Linux distributions available today. Its open-source operating system is one of the most popular worldwide and now available in a wide range of hardware products including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.

In 2019 a commercial entity was founded to generate income through the provision of professional services, thus supporting the long-term evolution of Manjaro as a self-funded entity within the Linux ecosystem, both commercially and as a supporter of the global open-source community.
